Book Review: School of Deaths by Christopher Mannino

I was offered the audio version of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a GOOD BOOK.

13 year old Suzie is thinning without an apparent reason. Family and doctors think she is anorexic. Suddenly one day a man with a black rob shows up at her home to take her to the School of Deaths, where she discovers that she is the only girl and the rest of Deaths are not friendly just because of that. She will need to discover exactly why this is.

I like fantasy, but I am quite picky, and I am sometimes disappointed. But not with this book. It could remind us of Harry Potter but it is a totally different concept, it’s fresh, the characters are alive and it definitely leaves us wanting to know what happens next.

The narrator does a wonderful job, changing his tone depending on the character.

I give it only 4 out of 5 stars because the fact that nobody realized that Lovethar couldn’t have died because she was remembered.
